Whatcha Got Cookin'? Need some new ideas? I've always liked a recipe exchange with friends or for a wedding shower, and figured this was a good spin on a geocaching-recipe exchange.
This large camo'd lock-n-lock container contains a few cookbooks, and a container with index cards on it to trade one recipe for another. I started it off with a Company's Coming cookbook and a few others, as well as recipe cards for Lemon Loaf, Rhubarb Lunar Cake, and a Taco Salad. The FTF gets the first choice of whichever books they would like to take with them, and I'd appreciate it if everyone else could stick to the theme of the recipe exchange. If you take a cookbook, please leave one. If you take a recipe(s), then please leave one too. In fact, why not also post your recipe with your log – or even a photo of your recipe – so that everybody can enjoy a history of any other recipes that pass through this cache? You can park anywhere in or around the nearby parking lot, and walk through the clearing. I’ve posted coordinates to the trailhead, and it’s an easy short walk down a trail which leads to Dragon Creek, though the cache isn’t located near the creek.
