Air Force Memorial Day Cache Traditional Cache
terri2south: In driving by this one on my way to Easter dinner noticed this area has been cleared of the pine trees and graded. Appears maybe some construction maybe be getting ready to start soon. This one is obviously gone after it's nearly 3 year life span.

My family represents all branches of service. Yes this does make it interesting at the holiday dinner table in case you were wondering. Or during the Army/Navy games ect.
My Cousin Tammy was in the Air Force when she graduated high school (uncle Joe's daughter). We were the only 2 females in my family to serve and represent the "other" branches that no other family member went into. She did her one tour and then married a guy back home and has 2 children living not far from other family in Northern Ohio.
Cache is a little bit of a challenge as you must hike to this one to earn it. Wide open field sort of reminds you of an air field lol. So lock the geomobile and put on some good shoes, take water with you as there is none along the way. It may be muddy at times if it has rained. Follow your GPS. By the time I got to it I could NOT see the geomobile which ment good place for the cache :)
Cache contains log book in baggie, pencil sharpener , some swag and is large enough for trackables and coins.
