This cache is located at a beautiful Lake of the Woods viewpoint. As you face south towards the water you will see Rat Portage Bay to your right; Safety Bay to your left; and Cameron Bay behind you, across the highway. A quick park and grab.
CO note as of 31 Mar 2020... Logs are reporting the cache log is full. My apology. I reside 200 km away. My normal routine would have me checking just after May cottage opening. Due to Corona virus this may not take place for a while. Thanks to any geocacher who happen by or live nearby if they are in a position to refresh the log. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ A quick park-and-grab. The cache is a small container containing a log only. Bring your writing stick. Ample parking is available. Plenty of parking and as of July 2013 boat access is available. This cache is not intended to be tough; the idea is to get to stop and enjoy the nearby tourism facility. A few hundred kilometers east you will find some cool treats, a restaurant and a railway museum with a particularly tough cache.
