Central Memorial Park dedicated in 2008, is built on the former site of the old Central Public School. The school was built in 1901 and was accredited as a three year high school in 1902. In 1905, it became a “first grade” four year high school. It operated as a fully functioning school building until 1991. In 2001, the site was cleared.
The fenced in park has a pavilion with picnic tables, a 1/4 mile walking track, playground and shelter house.
The cache is located on the south side and is accessible from either inside or outside(for night cachers) of the park. You are looking for a small container with a log book and has limited room for small trackables, pathtags and small trade items. Don’t forget to bring a pen and watch out for the neighborhood Muggles. CONGRATS TO Iflyitem43 for the FTF!
