Denne MK 17 minen og området her er satt opp til minne om belastningen 2 verdenskrig påførte det Norske folk.
Her kan man lese om MK 17 minen, mineleggingen av området mellom Karmøy og Utsira samt informasjon rundt kommandosenteret som tyskerne bygget under 2 verdenskrig på Stong.
Dette er også starten på en fin turløype som går helt til Ferkingstad.

The MK 17 mine and the area here is set up in memory of World War 2 strain inflicted the Norwegian people.
Here you can read about MK 17 mine, the mine laying area between Rogaland and Utsira as well as information about the Command Center that the Germans built here during the second World War at Stong.
This is also the start of a nice trail that goes all the way to Ferkingstad.
