A nice drive and a wonderful view of the valley as you ascend up this forest service road. Watch for deer and other woodland creatures who may be scampering about! A great view of the valley, off of this meandering dirt road that goes up to Veasy Lake. Plenty of trails to hike, bike and explore! Pull well off the dirt road. From Cache Creek head North. Turn left at the intersection near Hat Creek Heritage Ranch onto Hwy 99. Follow until you see the Veasy Lake Forest Service Road on the right. Follow road up to cache location about 7.5 kms from turn off.
