Marilla Springs Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
Cache is located along the Marilla Springs Trail, west of Bradford, PA.
Visit one of the sources of Bradford's water supply and the namesake of this trail: Marilla Springs. Hiking up from Marilla reservoir is about a four-mile trek one way from the gazebo. Terrain on the Marilla Springs Trail is gently rolling and gradually ascends as it follows Marilla Spring to its source. Terrain is rated for hiking up from the reservoir. This cache can be grabbed from the other end of the Marilla Springs trail by driving out Stickney and parking at the trailhead there. Either way, I highly recommend you pack yourself a picnic lunch and enjoy this lovely spot. The cache is NOT on the same side of the trail as the spring's source. Please do not disturb the rocks or anything around the spring. The cache is not there, it is on the OTHER side of the trail and not too hard to find. There is no need to get wet to find this cache. I stocked this cache with a few goodies, including an unactivated trackable for the FTF, a cotton potholder made by yours truly, and a few other pieces of swag.
