Geocache Description:

No traipsing in the woods nor wading through the streams. A quick 'park, search and grab' in a nice quiet little neighborhood.

Urban legend has it that Mr. Locklier was a bootlegger. Having found in the deep woods the remains of a liquor still, perhaps there is something to this local tale. And according to a long deceased neighbor, the early Blythewood locals called Locklier Road 'Thunder Road.' Hmmm. Was that official or unofficial?

Another thing, there is a highway sign on the northeast end of Locklier that indicates "Dead End." However, Locklier is NOT a dead end road. Can anyone be trusted around here? One thing is for sure. If Locklier was called Thunder Road, it was before the time of Bruce Springsteen and Thunder Road or Robert Mitchum and Thunder Road (1958).

In the log, let me know if you know Bruce Springsteen's Thunder Road, or have you seen Robert Mitchum in Thunder Road. If so, you're a great ole cacher!

This traditional cache should be nice and easy, especially if you use some of your 'geocaching sense.' PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN PEN.
This road is not heavily traveled. Parking is ok along the side of the road, but please not on the grass. Permission has been granted for the hide, but please be respectful of the property.

Usually not many muggles to worry about.
