Driving past we have noticed this monument but always were too far past to stop.
Today we slowed down and stopped and read of the history on the stone.
This is the site of the first building in the district in 1840.
From where the cache is placed you can see some stone work in the paddock. Did this belong to the original house?
There is a parking area but at the time of placing it was quite soft so it might be better to park on the road shoulder if you don't want to get bogged. You are looking for a green bison tube.
