Geocache Description:

The cache is most definitely not at the posted coordinates.

A scout troop, run by the Knights of Columbus, from Mt. Airy, MD was hiking east on the C & O Canal trail when they got to the point where it joins the Appalachian Trail. They met up with a scout troop from Guilford, Connecticut, who call themselves the Wood Ducks, which was hiking South on the Appalachian trail. They stopped for a few minutes to have a break and get to know each other. They then talked about the hikes they had done so far and the great things they saw. They were so impressed with the information about the trails the other troop had been on, they decided to go and see what the other troop saw and they took off on the trail the others just came from. I hope they do not get lost.
