Geocache Description:

This is my first hide. The idea was to choose a location that is easy for me to maintain. I go right past this spot daily on my way to and from work, so it should be easy for me to maintain.

You are looking for a clear plastic container, approximately 4" by 6," with locks that snap down on all four sides.

Note: This cache is not in, on or in any way touching the nearby Quilt Garden. You do not need to enter the garden or climb on the surrounding wall to find this cache.
This cache named for the nearby quilt garden, planted as part of  a tour. However, the cache is not in the quilt garden. I have been asked to further clarify that the cache is not in any way touching any part of the garden or the sign next to the garden. The local Quilt Garden committee does not want anyone touching the flowers. This should be a quick and easy find, but stealth is required, especially when the garden is in bloom, as visitors make frequent stops. The trade items are nothing fancy, but feel free to take something and leave something in return. Please do not take without leaving. First to find gets a rechargeable gift card. I would be pleased to have TBs and other trackables visit my cache.

Please be sure to sign the log. Notify me right away if there is anything wrong, such as water inside the container, etc. I go right past this location every day on my way to and from work, so it should not be a problem for me to maintain it.

The quilt garden is a part of a countywide tour designed by the Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau. Each quilt design is unique and done completely in flowers. There are also murals for spots not suitable for gardens. I have long been an admirer of this project but have yet to see them all. The inside of the building is worth a quick stop, too, as it holds many artifacts from Nappanee's past.
Congrats to tjns on the FTF! :)
