Geocache Description:

This is a very difficult cache located above the arches of an old railway viaduct. The track is now a footpath with several caches on it. This cache is only retrievable by abseiling from the top of the bridge. You should only consider this if you are completely competent and have the correct equipment.

Retrieval of this cache is NOT straight forward. it will require abseiling from the top of the viaduct. You should only consider retrieving this cache if your are competent in abseiling and setting up your own anchors. Specialist skills, knowledge, and equipment are required. Please don't even go near the drop unless you are 100% sure you are safe.

There are several trees at the top which can be used as anchor points and a metal fence running along the edge, if you are attempting this you should know exactly how to set up an anchor point! As with anything of this nature, always tell someone where you're going and what you're doing.

You search for this cache completely at your own risk, I take no responsibility! Unlike another abseil cache that I am aware of, the terrain will prevent the use of a ladder.

The cache is a micro containing only a log book, so you will need to bring your own pen. Please ensure the lid is fully on before replacing the cache.

There is ample parking in the area within quite a short walk of the viaduct.

**Congratulations to BalooCrew, PlasmaWave and Bates&Law on the joint FTF ***
