Geocache Description:

This cache located in LBJ NHP's Johnson City district provides an example of the impact of the cattle industry and how it forever changed to Hill Country landscape.

Please use caution while in the Johnson Settlement area as fire ants are quite common! ***The caches at LBJ NHP are all inside ammo cases. Sign the log bog, take a souvenir of your visit, but PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING BEHIND. TRINKETS AND TRACKABLES WILL BE REMOVED BY PARK STAFF. Please be courteous to other park visitors and respect the natural and historic resources. Be sure to visit us at the park visitor center located at 100 East Lady Bird Ln!***
