Placed in the delightful Teddy Heights woods to celebrate the 10th anniversary in June 2013 of the purchase of this woodland by the Arnside/Silverdale AONB Landscape Trust. Named in memory of a fellow cacher who lost her battle with cancer on the day we placed the cache.
The cache is inside the woodland boundary but NOT IN THE WALL - DO NOT DISTURB ANY STONES IN THE WALL. The reserve is a native broad-leaved woodland with oak, ash and yew and an under-storey of hazel coppice where woodland birds including great spotted woodpecker, nuthatch, bullfinch, marsh tit and blackcap can be seen or heard. Please take time to look and listen and enjoy the woods. Roadside parking is available at the waypoint close to this cache.
