On the South West corner of Kalispell, Lone Pine State Park has overlooks that provide amazing views of the Flathead Valley. From the overlooks you get a birds eye view of Kalispell and on a good clear day you can see Glacier National Park, the Whitefish Mountain Range, the Swan Mountain Range, and Flathead Lake. There is also a host of other activities available at Lone Pine. The visitor center is a good place to explore.
