The above coordinates will take you to the Black Rock Desert, however it is not to the actual site of the event! And you will need a ticket to get inside the Burning Man event.
Event location at Peritwinkle's venue within Camp D.O.A., Black Rock City, NV! Use your Burning Man event guide to find us, but we will be at the corner of 3 & GDP.
This year, if you arrive after 11:30 am you will not get credit for the event. Sorry, that is just not fair to those who can find there way on time! If you have a really good excuse, please let me know before 8/20 - it IS Burning Man after all.
At 10:02 am we will be serving Mimosas, OJ or water. Once we all have our beverages in hand, at 10:17 am we will sit down and have our trackable exchange, and then at 10:30ish we will check out each others cool cache container (CCC) photos and 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes will be awarded for best overall. Judging of photos begins at 10:45 am and prizes awarded 11 am.
An example of a cool cache to photograph is a piece of wood with a container glued inside, or perhaps a bird house that is really a cache container, or perhaps a brick you pull out of the side of a building to expose the cache container. Format could either be a photo, color print out, or shown on your smart phone. We just have to be able to see it.
