Geocache Description:

The Battle of Cranberry Creek happened July 21, 1813 and was part of the War of 1812.
A Bold Maneuver
British supply ships regularly transported materials to their Great Lakes bases via the St. Lawrence River. American raiding parties intercepted one such shipment and hid in the upper reaches of Cranberry Creek. Although the Americans repelled a British search party, some Americans were killed. They were buried at this site and their sacrifice is still honored.

Located in a Wildlife Management Area off Swan Hollow Rd in Alexandria Bay, NY
This is a plastic ammo can with a logbook & pencil and of course some swag.
