Puisqu'il n'y a pas eu de maintenance dans un laps de temps raisonnable, j'archive cette cache définitivement.

De begraafplaats van Laken of het kerkhof van Laken is een begraafplaats in het Brussels Hoofdstedelijk Gewest. De begraafplaats ligt naast de Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk en is de oudste Brusselse begraafplaats die nog in gebruik is. Het is de laatste resterende Brusselse begraafplaats die als middeleeuws kerkhof rond een kerk ontstaan is. Op de begraafplaats is nog het koor van de oude kerk bewaard.Bijzonder interessant zijn de rijk versierde oude grafmonumenten en de onderaardse grafgalerij.

De cache kan je van buitenaf bereiken, maar het kerkhof en de kerk zijn zeker de moeite waard om te bezichtigen (waar zich de graven van het belgische vorstenhuis bevinden). Dus gelieve rekening te houden met de openingstijden.
Het is een nano cache – dus vergeet geen balpen mee te nemen. .

The Laken cemetery or Laken churchyard is the oldest Brussels’ cemetery that still is being used. It is the last “churchyard” in the medieval meaning of the word – i.e. it surrounds the Church of Our Lady of Laken. The chancel of the medieval predecessor of today’s church can still be visited on the cemetery.
Especially interesting are the vast old funeral monuments and the underground crypt.

This cache can be accessed from outside the cemetery. It’s however recommended to pass by during opening hours and have a look at both the churchyard and the church (which hosts the tombs of the Belgian royal family).
This is a nano cache – so don’t forget to bring a pen.

Le cimetière de Laeken, à Bruxelles, est le plus ancien des cimetières bruxellois encore en fonction. Il est aussi le plus connu internationalement pour la richesse du patrimoine funéraire qu’il contient.C’est également le dernier cimetière de la région bruxelloise du type « paroissial », établi autour d’une église.
Parmi les tombeaux se trouve aussi une copie originale du penseur de Rodin.

Le cache peut être accédé de l’extérieure du cimetière, mais l’église et le cimetière sont peine une visite. Venez alors pendant les heures d’ouverture.
C’est un cache nano – n’oubliez pas d’apporter votre bic.
