Geocache Description:

Une cache placée au début de la route 389 Nord.

A cache placed near the beginning of route 389 North.

Lorsqu'on emprunte cette route vers le nord, on va avoir les vues extraordinaires. La route traverse la rivière Manicouagan à deux reprises, et les deux fois au pied des barrages. Manic Deux et Manic Cinq.

On passe le long du réservoir de Manic Cinq, le Cratère de Manicouagan, les Monts Groulx et plusieurs lacs, rivières et des rapides et chutes.

Plus au nord on traverse le chemin de fer une douzaine de fois. Vous pouvez les comter.

Apportez votre appareil photo et montrez-nous vos photos.

As we travel along this road we come across some spectular scenery. The road crosses the Manicouagan river at the foot of two big dams. Manic 2 and Manic 5. Both very impressive.

You will also drive alongside the giant Manicouagan Resevoir and the Manicouagan Impact Crater. You will pass through the Monts Groulx, you will also see numerous lakes, rivers, falls and rapides.

Further north you will cross the railroad at least a dozen times. Count them.

So bring your camera and post some pictures along with your log.
