Located in beautiful Ellsworth Maine along Branch Lake at the newly constructed boat landing, Cache is located away from the main parking area away from possible onlookers during the busy season.
Google and Apple maps applications under satellite view currently have outdated satellite views of this area, where there is a well marked paved road leading to the cache site the current satellite images show thick forrest! Be advised -- cache is located off the Happy Town Road, simply follow Boat Launch Way to parking area! I just wanted to make that clear for fellow users of the wildly popular geocaching application for smartphones. The newly constructed boat landing was constructed over the past several years by the Army Core of Engineers, it provides access to Branch Lake with a popular swimming area close by. Road access to the cache spot is just off the Happy Town Road, you will have to turn onto Boat Launch Way to get to the boat launch area, should be accesable at all times. I made sure to place the cache in a spot away from any onlookers which will be present during the busy season! Use stealth and place the cache in its original hiding spot! Could be a tough one to spot! I placed a bunch of cool stuff in the cache , please sign the log! Cache container is lock & lock. Good luck and enjoy this beautiful area!
