HauptGirls: After a thorough search we were unable to find Hedwig. He was likely muggled. Additionally the stump he was perched on is deteriorating so much that he would be obvious if we replaced him. If we can find another suitable place for him we may create another cache for him. Geocache Description:

This isn't your typical P&G, as if you were on Privet Drive. With all the muggles about you will have to find this messenger, rather than it finding you. For an added thrill, find this cache at night .

Previously we had placed a tribute cache to our Papa (The Eagle's Nest) near this location. It recently went missing, and instead of replacing the expensive container we decided to replace it with this cache with the help of our Papa, the simple half of Small&Simple, and Hannahhaupt who were visitng. It took us a while to find a good location, but we think this one will catch you by surprise.

Please take care to replace the cache as you found it, repositioning the cover so that the camo is not exposed or obvious for the next cacher. 
The tree cover is thick, so expect to sharpen  your geosense as you search for this cache.
