This is the ninth in the There and Back Some More series. This is a circular walk taking you from Ferndale, along the river to Maerdy and back and is approximately a 3 mile round trip. It can be linked to the There and Back series and done in one long circular walk of about 7 miles, The parking co-ordinates are for the Rhondda Life car park, although plenty of on street parking is available.
This is a HEAVILY disguised micro and it was named Danny's Burden as our son had to carry this all the way from our house which is over 2 miles away. After doing this cache, take the next path down towards the river, where you will retrace your steps back to the Electric Avenue. Instead of crossing back over the bridge, carry on on this side of the river to the next cache.
