...Arkansas City that is! Our first summer picnic event! Come spend the day taking part in our own personal 'geocaching' series specifically put together for this event and all entirely on our own property. There will be land, air, and water caches to be found. Door prizes, possible bonfire if it's not too incredibly hot outside. Hot dog roast, fishing (bring your own gear please), swimming, canoeing, and best of all fellowship with other geocachers! Asking that everyone that can please bring a side dish and lawn chair. Lake is deep so please remember a flotation device for children if you want them to swim. Fishing is allowed but please catch and release. Suggest bringing sturdy shoes and clothes and bug spray for the 'geocaching' portion of the day. Don't forget your GPSr!! There is plenty of places to change clothes as the day goes on. Any geocaching tools that you normally use, you just might want to bring with you, also....never know what you might find yourself in!
When you RSVP, and I know you WILL!!...please list what side dish you are bringing if possible so we don't end up with 25 plates of deviled eggs...Yuck! :-) OK, so maybe I'm the only one that doesn't like them....but you get the picture.
