A Macadamia Nut Farm Adventure


FACTS
• the macadamia nut tree originated in Australia
• today Hawaii is the largest exporter of macadamia nuts providing 95 percent of the world's crop
• the first tree planted in Hawaii was in 1882 on the Big Island
• macadamia nuts are not picked from the tree, but are fully ripened when they fall and are then harvested
• macadamia nuts are one of the hardest nuts to crack

park to the left of the entrance of this five-acre 70-year old macadamia nut farm and look for cache outside the entrance. please place cache back exactly as found
