Geocache Description:

Inspired by a kayak-only set of caches on Long Lake near Akron, I set out to place my first water accessible cache. Located at the Deer Creek Reservoir - near Alliance, OH - this cache can pretty much only be accessed by kayak (I think other boats might have a hard time in this part of the lake).  Enjoy the scenery, be safe, and have fun!

First of all - get yourself and your kayak to the Deer Creek Reservoir near Alliance, OH. There are several places to park on the lake, but the main lot is probably the easiest. The entire paddle will be about 2 miles. The cache itself is a small medicine bottle placed inside another bottle to protect it from the elements. It is placed such that retrieval and logging can all be done from your kayak.  It is a micro-cache so there's no booty.  I was able to include a small pencil in the outer bottle to record your find.  After you've found the cache, I encourage you to continue on past the cache location and try your luck at paddling through the railroad underpass and then the motorway underpass.  A real treat!  Enjoy the scenery, be safe, and have fun.

Out on the lake.
