Geocache Description:

With high school prom and graduation parties around the corner I thought it a good time to remind all of the dangers of drinking and driving. Hopefully you won't experience a feeling of dejavu as you go thru my Field Sobriety Test:

You've been spotted at sunset by an officer of the law discarding what appeared to him to be a beer bottle in one of a pair of connected trash cans in a public park. He decides then and there to conduct a field sobriety test.

As seen in "Funniest Police Videos" you're asked to walk a straight line across a parking lot while you recite the alphabet. In this case you're asked to walk straight towards the setting sun and recite each letter as you take a 3 foot step. (Since you're starting on a hill and off the pavement the officer kindly foregoes the usual heel-to-toe step.)

You proceed to do this, but the officer is unsure if you're indeed sober, and the march continues until you've recited the whole alphabet six times and you walk into a tree. Actually it's a good thing you did or you'd have fallen down an embankment.

At this point the officer says, "Right Face" and the marching and alphabet work continues across the parking lot and up a hill. You recite the alphabet four more times and are up to the letter "F" on the fifth time when you realize that the officer has apparently decided you're sober and left. He also left you at a geocache, assuming you walked in the right direction and didn't weave all over the parking lot!

The geocache is in an antique ammo can - be gentle latching it closed again. Hope there weren't too many cars blocking your path in the lot ;) [Seriously - this is one you probably shouldn't try when the parking lot is full of cars and the nearby fields are full of kids playing soccer.]
If you walked more than about .15 mile and/or didn't find the cache I'm afraid you'd better have someone else drive you home.
