Geocache Description:

You are looking for a camo'd Lock-n-Lock about five feet up. The area you are searching in is owned by the State of Maine and run by the city of Ellsworth.

We have totally enjoyed all the wonderful caches others have set out.  We feel it is our turn to give back.  Video gaming was in its infancy when we were young adults, and we decided to pay homage to those, now archaic, technological wonders.

Though there were many games starting with P, we had to choose Pong.  It was the first commercially successful video game, which led to the start of the video game industry thirty- eight years ago.  Players had a paddle and a ball moved back and forth over a net.

In wandering down Happytown Rd, we noted a new road (which we had to explore).  Boat Launch Rd (N44°34.963 W068°34.824) has a gate, but there is no info posted at present about when, or if, it would be closed.  In talking to a local we found out that Branch View Dr will also get to the same place.  It does not have a gate. The road to the picnic area and beach may be closed, requiring a bushwhacking trek of about 100 yards from the boat launch parking area.
Congrats to GenieCache for FTF! Also, thanks to GenieCache for additional information about the boat launch and recreational area, which may be found here
