If you’ve been around Seabrook for any length of time, you may have seen Slim.
He walked the streets for more years than I can remember and one year, during a Mayoral election that was particularly miserable, there was a campaign to elect Slim the Mayor of Seabrook. More than a few yards sported signs proclaiming, "Slim For Mayor"!
Slim was a fascinating person and lovely to speak with.
If you never saw Slim or never had the opportunity to speak with him, you've missed your chance-for now. I've been told that Slim is in a care facility, recovering from a foot infection. Hopefully, he will be back in Seabrook soon!
