With how fast technology changes, there is always something new being invented. With everything new, there is always more and more to throw out. Working with technology I get to see some of the latest technologies as they come to life, this also means I get to gather some expired technology for my own use. What a better way to use some expired technology than to make some neat caches for others to find!
To start this cache series please park at the new Metro Transit bus terminal located off Perrin Rd (Formerly Old Guysborough Rd) in Fall River. Adventure up the gated service road until you see a grassy road on your right, head down this road to find your first of seveal pieces of expired technology.
The trail will start out nice, making you think, what a breeze, but beware of large puddles and swamps as you go. You will then merge with an old logging road and your journey will be very easy once again. Please be sure to place caches in same condition as found.
Feel free to take your mountain bike, ATV or other form or transportation, but sorry, no trucks/Jeeps as the service road is gated. I placed this series with my mountain bike and had very little difficulty but I did run into a large number of ATV's and dirt bikes whose operators were having lots of fun with. I also got to see lots of shells from rifles and shotguns, be sure to wear hunters orange when the season is open.
The caches will range from Micro to normal sized, some will be winter friendly, some will not, some will have pens in them, some will have TB's in them and some will have FTF prizes. Where all the FTF prizes are the same except for colour, please leave some for other caches to find. Where all the caches are different sizes, I suggest bringing your own pen.
Happy Caching!
