Night time Ruins
Since I found literally 95% of the caches here on BAF at night time, this is an ode to everyone who works the night shift!! This is highly recommended as a night time grab. Please don't risk this cache getting muggled by going out there during hours of daylight.
This cache is located on Bagram Airfield (BAF) and proper credentials are required to gain entry to the base. At the time of this placement, there were no special access gates or control points leading to the cache site. So, there are no special credentials required to get to this cache once on BAF.
This is recommended a nighttime cache, preferably between the hours of 0000-0400. It tends to get very dusty. This cache may be found during the day with some stealth and a few team mates to act as spotters/laborers. This is not exactly a quick grab and dash cache. This requires a little bit of manual labor when, both finding AND replacing. Bring gloves if you are worried about getting your ahnds dirty/dusty.
I came across this location while searching for Bombwell just down the road. It is a great spot, East of the airfield and reminds me of what used to be here. I have been out to this site several times and have only seen one fox and one rabbit. I felt I might have witnessed natural selection in the works.
Anyway, this is a great place for a cache and hope it lasts!!
It is VERY important to place EVERYTHING BACK AS YOU FOUND IT.
