This cache is only a short stroll from the train station through Stallards Park. Westbourne Gardens is a quiet residential road that is in a conservation area. The houses are Victorian and of different styles. Right in the corner, and only about 35 meters from the cache, is Westbourne tennis club that has just celebrated its 100 anniversary.The cache is hiding in front of what was the old nursing home.
Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire and has a historic past as a textile town that housed a number of mills. There is a great museum in the Shires that covers this aspect really well. Today it is home to a variety of industry but is still coming to terms with the loss of its old industry. Long awaited ew developments are the first signs of a very slow recovery.
