Geocache Description:

This is the second in a series of caches to highlight bits and pieces of local history in South King County and beyond.

Now known at the Bingaman Pond Natural Area, the western portion of the wetlands was once used for cranberry production.  Portions of the World War I era dam are still visible near the cache location.  Unfortunately, not much information can be found regarding the cranberry farm.
