MessieurPhil: I am glad to have placed a popular cache and had the help of a local geocacher to maintain it. But it is in bad condition and it is probably best to archive it at this time. Many thanks to a local geocacher who took care of it for me (the owner is in the USA).

If you live near or are visiting the area where this cache is located, you are very fortunate. Lake Maggiore and nearby Lake Como are in a beautiful region of Italy that I discovered while on holiday in Italy.
Standing near this cache, you will see both rushing water and still water, a brook, the lake and the mountains. You will have to be careful about parking - do not park on the main road. Go towards the town, turn towards the lake, and then turn back towards the cache, which is near the camp ground. Please use stealth, and be sure to report a "DNF" if you are unable to locate the cache. A geocacher who lives in the Piemonte region of Italy, wildfrog66, generously provides maintenance of the cache.
