Short ways off the bike/ped path is another Sunriver bench.
Could park at the Nature Center and have a leisurely stroll to this cache.
I've often passed this spot on my bike and today decided to stop and enjoy the view. Peaceful. With a little bit of luck you may see the Swan whom I've seen here a few times in the past month. Update August: There are now two swans: Chuck and Gracie, who is the new swan. I understand Chuck had to be given a "time out" for not being nice to Gracie. Since then the two have been pretty much together all the time.UPDATE SEP '22: Chuck and Gracie have flown to the big sanctuary in the sky. The lake is now occupied by Val (arrived Valentine's Day) and Gus. In 2021 no signets were hatched. Summer '22 has 2 new signets which will eventually live elsewhere safely.
Enjoy the view and take a stroll down the short path to the water.
Rated as 1.5 because the bench is not easily accessible by wheel chair.
