In a small valley just beside Tivon, the largest oak in Israel resides. It is not very tall- about 10 meters at its peak, but it has an immense girth, with a trunk diameter of over 5 meters. The spot is part of Ilan's Trail, a memorial trail to the soldier Ilan Gabai created by his family, who live in Tivon.
The small memorial garden, in the middle of the oak groves around Tivon is an extremely lovely spot, often enjoyed by families out for a short hike and picnic. During the flowering seasons it is dotted with a multitude of blooms, most notably Kalaniyot and Rakafot.

The cache is a large Tupperware-like box, with many trinkets and goodies inside, as well as three travel-bugs waiting for the glorious finders.
Enjoy!
