Mark's Secret Margaritaville
EN: This cache is hidden in a shack built almost entirely out of items washed up on the long isolated beach.
We were lucky enough to visit Margaritaville during a holiday to Lindos on the island of Rhodes. It's a wonderful location with a deserted beach which is almost 25km long.
DE: Der Cache ist ein einem Schuppen versteckt, der komplett aus am Strand angeschwemmten Sachen gebaut wurde. Während unseres Urlaubs in Lindos auf Rhodos hatten wir das Vergnügen Margaritaville zu besuchen. Es ist ein ganz wunderbarer Fleck an einem einsamen, fast 25km langen Strand.
EN: This location is not accessible by normal road vehicles so please dont try it in your hire car or on a scooter or you could be calling the Greek equivalent of the AA out. A 4x4 is definitely needed if you are going to drive right up to the cache. We travelled in an expertly driven Land Rover Defender so there wasn't going to be much to stop us.
It would be accessible on foot from the main road but don't try it in flip flops, wear a hat and take some water!
When you have found the cache then take a while to sit and admire the stunning location of this hidden gem. Imagine if the view from your office window looked like this!
PLESASE NOTE: at the moment there is no logbook in this cache. Due to its location - and it being out of season - it will probably be March before a new one can be dropped off. If you are going to log this cache please can you take some paper as well as a pen 
DE: Dieser Ort ist allerdings nicht mit normalen Fahrzeugen erreichbar. Also probiert es erst gar nicht mit einem Mietauto oder gar auf einem Motorrad dorthin zu kommen. Dann braucht ihr ganz bestimmt die Hilfe des griechischen ADACs um wieder raus zu kommen. Ihr braucht auf jeden Fall Allradantrieb. Wir wurden professionell in einem Land Rover Defender dorthingefahren. So konnte nichts schiefgehen.
Man kann auch von der Hauptstraße aus zu Fuß gehen, allerdings nicht in Flipflops und nur wenn man Hut und Wasserflasche dabei hat!
Wenn ihr den Cache gefunden habt, nehmt euch etwas Zeit um die atemberaubende Landschaft zu bewundern. Stellt euch vor, wie es wäre, wenn ihr diesen Ausblick zu Hause oder vom Büro aus hättet!
Respektiert die Landschaft und die Arbeit, die in diese kleine Oase investiert wurde, und verlasst sie wieder so, wie ihr sie vorgefunden habt.
