The planet Mars and the geocache are at Mound Laser on Research Blvd. in Kettering. This geocache is near the scale model version of mars in relation to both distince from the sun and its size with the sun being in the DRSS atrium.
This cache was put together by Dave, Doug, Omena, and Pedro, high school students at the Dayton Regional STEM School for the Fitness and Technology Intersession. This is a continuation of the Astronomy Intersession from last year, where Omena and other students created scale models of the planets of the Solar System. We are making these caches to help people find those planets while providing them with some fun trying to find the cache.
