Byggnaden i korsningen flyttades till den nuvarande platsen i slutet av 1800-talet och inreddes med fyra rum och kök, poststation samt en affärslokal i änden ut mot vägen. Ryktet säger att ägaren, Karl August Johansson, ville ha affären så nära vägen att ingen skulle kunna gå förbi utan att komma in. Inne i lokalen fanns det även en lönndörr från handelsboden in till ett litet rum bakom disken. I handlesboden såldes många olika råvaror allt från kött till mejerier. Där fanns även ett skåp med texten ”Gift skåp” och vad de förvarade där är det ingen som vet, men luckorna till skåpet finns fortfarande kvar i lokalen.
Handelsbod avvecklades år 1904 och fastigheten köptes av Lovisa och Johan-Ludvig Karlsson och den gamla affärslokalen användes till vedbod och förråd. Efter deras död stod huset öde under många år tills år 1990 då Helena och Per Stålhammar köpte gården som var Helenas föräldragård och år 1998 renoverade de Lovisagården, som huset heter, till vad det är idag. Idag bedrivs det ett sommarcafé i den gamla affären där mycket av den ursprungliga inredningen finns bevarad och det är Helenas gammelmormor Lovisa som har fått ge namnet till cafét. Nu är den gamla handelsboden återigen en mötesplats i byn.

The Shop
The building in the junction was moved to the present location in the late 19th century and was decorated with four rooms and a kitchen, post station as well as a business premises in the end of the building onto the road. Rumor has it that the owner, Karl Johansson, wanted the shop as close to the road that nobody could pass by without entering. Inside the room, there was also a secret door from the shop into a small room behind the counter. The shop sold many different commodities ranging from meat to dairy products. There was also a cabinet with the words "Poison cabinets” and what they held there, no one knows, but the doors to the Cabinet are still there in the room.
The shop was dismantled in 1904 and the property was bought by Lovisa and Johan-Ludvig Karlsson and the old business premises were used to the Woodshed and supplies. After their death the House stood desolate for many years until the year 1990 when Helena and Per Stålhammar bought the yard that was Helena's parents farm and in 1998 they renovated the House, called Lovisagården, to what it is today. Today it is a summer cafe in the old store where much of the original interior is preserved and it is Helena's great-grandmother, Lovisa who has given name to the cafe. Now the old shop once again a meeting place in the village.
