Endlich Urlaub... es hat ein bisserl gedauert, aber endlich konnten wir in unseren ersten gemeinsamen Urlaub starten :-) Als wir an diesem Ort vorbeikamen, wussten wir auch gleich, dass wir uns hier mit einem Cache in Kroatien verewigen werden. Wir hoffen, dass viele von euch die Aussicht auf die Bucht und die Höhe dieses Turmes genießen können. Wir hoffen, dass wir oft nach Kroatien zurückkommen können, denn in dieser Woche haben wir uns doch ein bisschen in dieses Land verliebt. Viel Spaß :-) Bitte Stift mitbringen!!!!
Das Kraftwerk Plomin (kroatisch: Termoelektrana Plomin, kurz: TE Plomin) ist ein 1970 in Betrieb genommenes Wärmekraftwerk in der Nähe des Dorfes Plomin (Gemeinde Kršan, Gespanschaft Istrien, Kroatien). Es wird mit Steinkohle befeuert. Neben dem Block 1, der 120 MW produziert, wurde im Jahr 2000 der Block 2 mit weiteren 210 MW in Betrieb genommen. Das Kraftwerk verfügt über einen 340 Meter hohen Schornstein, der das höchste Bauwerk in Kroatien ist. Block 1 wird von der Hrvatska elektroprivreda (HEP) betrieben, Block 2 von der TE Plomin d.o.o., an der HEP und das deutsche Unternehmen RWE je zu 50 % beteiligt sind.
Plomin Power Station is a coal fired power station near Plomin, Croatia. As of 2007, its production corresponded to 13% of Croatia's electricity needs.
The power plant consists of two boiler units, TE Plomin A built in 1969 and TE Plomin B built in 2000. Both are operated by Hrvatska elektroprivreda, and the latter is co-owned with RWE Power AG.[1] They generate a total of 330 megawatt. In 2007 their total output was 2187 gigawatt hours; in 2009 it was 1927 GWh.[2]
In 2011, the reconstruction of the Plomin A Power Station was proposed for a more efficient and safer functioning. The capacity of the new station, named Plomin C will be of 500 MW instead the 125 MW of the old one, fact that created ambiguities as it was mostly viewed as a new project rather than a reconstruction of the Plomin A plant. As a result, the Plomin Power Station capacity will increase from 335 MW to 710 MW. The upper limit of 335 MW was planned to be the maximum to be allowed at Plomin plant, an increase in capacity being possible only using gas rather than coal. However, the Croatian government supported the project, viewing it as “rational and cost effective”.[3]
Plomin Power Station has a 340 metres (1,120 ft) tall chimney, which is the tallest constructed structure in Croatia.
Termoelektrana Plomin je termoelektrana pored Plomina.
Sastoji se od TE Plomin 1 (sagrađene 1969.) i TE Plomin 2 (sagrađene 2000.). To je kondenzacijska termoelektrana s dva bloka, te svaki ima kotao i po jednu parnu turbinu. Pogonsko gorivo je ugljen. Ukupna snaga termoelektrane iznosi oko 330 MW, te prema podacima iz 2007. proizvodi 2 187 GWh električne energije (Plomin 1 786, a Plomin 21 401).
S visinom od 340 metara, dimnjak TE Plomin najviša je građevina u Hrvatskoj.
