A small cache hidden along the Escarpment trail.
The Triangle Rock Cache is hidden along the Escarpment Trail in the Elm Ridge Wild Forest. This entire trail is 23.9.miles long. To reach this cache park at the rte 23 trailhead at the end of the Escarpment Trail. cross rte 23 and then cross a wooden bridge. You will arrive at the registration box and info sign, be sure to sign in the register if you are hiking in the area. Continue up the blue trail to the cache. Further up is the Elm Ridge Leanto (1.16 miles from rte 23) and the summit of Windham High Peak (3524') (3.4 miles from rte 23). There are several caches in the area, so be sure to explore the Elm Ridge Trails nearby. This cache is a small camo decon container. Contains a log sheet, pen, and a few other items.
