The cache is in an area rarely visited by tourists, but it does take you to a location giving views of the East coast of the island - this is not as dramatic as the West coast, but it is much closer for many tourists.
The suggested parking is also convenient for three other caches.
From the suggested parking place the walk is about 35 minutes each way, although it is possible to follow the road South and even drive to within 5 metres of the cache - a 4x4 is recommended for this, although some people do drive there in normal cars.
Please try to protect the delicate environment by following obvious paths/tracks to the cache location.
The cache is suitable for children as long as they can manage the walk, but do supervise them carefully in the cache area as there is a cliff top nearby.
The spoiler photographs should help to locate the cache, although please note that my walking pole is no longer there!
I would be interested to know why the bay is called "Whale Cove" (Caleta de la Bellano) if anyone can tell me!
Finally, please remove and replace stones carefully so that you do not damage the container and also please check that the container itself cannot be seen when you leave
