Geocache Description:


This is a place along the Wishkaw river that once was a very busy industrial area.
The pictures show an area just down stream with several boats and one of the sawmills
But it was this way for more then mile further upstream the banks and along the waterfront (which is downtown now) lined with sawmills.
This is the heritage of the Grays Harbor communities.




These are lumber hauling schooners taking the product from the sawmills to market in California, the Orient and others places where it was needed.
Now it's your turn to find this small corner of Aberdeen history.
