Bear in the Bush

Stopped for a break while doing the old DBM dash
And from this vantage point saw a bear in the slash.
Climbed up on a stump and enjoyed watching him feed,
And wondered if he would get all the berries he’d need.

He stood up on his back legs to get a good look
And I wondered if he’d like a copy of the picture I took.
He grumbled and mumbled and then wandered away
And that’s when I placed my new cache for the day.
