Are you brave enough to hunt the Lakewood CHUD? MARVEL - at the wonders of nature along the trail! THRILL - to the mighty river's twists and turns! BEWARE - the acidic plants and slithering snakes! Can you follow the trail all the way to the end? Can you face the Caching Humanoid Underground Dwellers?
The container is a small, regular cache placed along the trail in the Rocky River Reservation. Parking is available at the Memorial Fields parking lot. It's a two mile roundtrip hike along the river. It's a mostly flat, dirt trail, but there are a few spots that require going across some water and over/under some downed trees. There's some poison ivy along the trail, but if you stick to the path you should be okay. I've seen all sorts of birds, deer, jumping fish, snakes, and other wildlife every time I've been back here, so the hike should be worth it! **Please replace camo when done!**
