We have lived in this area for 9 years, have hardly noticed this hill and certainly never been up it before now. The kids and I were out hunting for a new cache site in the park here; when we spotted the hillside path leading up the kids were great as they were so keen to hike up this hill in the fading light of a 31 degree evening to hide a cache. Good geo-training.
This little hill, covered in old forest, doesn't seem to have a name on the map so my kids named it Shek Kip Mei Mountain [it is actually called Wo Chai Hill]. There are wild animals on the summit so we retreated from there, but found a secret path with evidence of a goblin hideout all around, so beware, especially if you come at night. We hid the cache at a place where the goblins obviously like to look out over northern Kowloon to select their next prey. Magic lizards, giant frogs and scary leaves jumped out on us, making the kids scream. Beware. Oh, and never, ever, ever leave the path.
