You can find the box along a ceased railway that was operated for 115 years.
Zala-valley Railway
There was a local light railway-line of 48 km length between Türje and Balatonszentgyörgy. This railway was completed in 1892. and the last train went down it in 2007.
Parking place: N46° 42.310’ E17° 14.240’ near the long-time railway platform.
You will walk about 700 metres from the parking place to the box in the railway substructure maybe on the sleepers (railroad ties) or crushed natural basalt rock layer of track ballast.
You have to know that you will be in the borderline of a National Park (BFNP) therefore you have got to protect the environment. This cache was hidden with permission got from the BFNP (Balaton-felvidéki Nemzeti Park – Balaton Uplands National Park). (visit link)
