Child frinedly there and back stroll
As My Mum used to say, “Always walk tall” we had to name our first set of caches in her honour. This set of caches is based next to our favourite Lincolnshire beach; in fact it’s the only Lincolnshire beach we use. We have designed a chid friendly, there and back stroll, you can extend the walk by carrying on past box three to Anderby Creek where there is a café and shop during the holiday season. Start at Wolla Bank car park and go from there. The car park is signposted by a brown sign from the coastal road between Chapel St Leonards and Sutton on Sea.
Wolla Bank is a beautiful, quiet beach. At very low tide you can see the remains of an ancient forest which was submerged as the tides rose, several thousand years ago.
Myself, my Dad and my two sons placed the boxes, my seven year old provided the hints!
The area has recently been heavily invested in as part of the coastal parks campaign. The second box in the "Walk Tall" set is hidden by a beautiful new addition to the area. A medium sized clip lid box (you need to rotate the lid if you can't get it back on).
