Frogs in Yonder Pond Traditional Geocache
NightOwl74: Unfortunately this cache has run out of time since the land has been purchased and has mostly been cleared. I was lucky that the cache was not under so many of the cleared and chipped trees. There was a small patch of trees that was left standing - including the tree that the cache was on! Cache container retrieved by owner. Thanks to everyone that found this cache over the last 2 years.

As I was walking down the trail to hide this cache, I was thinking to myself.... "What should I call it?" Always a big dilemma for me!
As if they were listening, I heard the frogs singing in a nearby pond. Then, all I could think of was a song that I used to sing as a little girl with my Brownie unit called "Frogs in Yonder Pond".
If you know it, sing along with me...
Hear the lively song of the frogs in yonder pond,
Crick, crick, crickety crick, BARRRUMMP!
And there are actions too if you want to give them a try!
(On the first line of the song, everyone is crouched on the floor like a frog. At the "Barrrump", everyone jumps up in the air and claps their hands over their heads. Once everyone is familiar with the words and actions, split your singers into as many small groups as you'd like. Have each group start singing at slightly different times, and have them repeat the song as many times as you'd like. The overall effect is of a frog pond in spring with lots of frogs croaking!)
Listen carefully as you pass by the pond and you too may hear their lively song!
Bring your own writing stick as there is no room for one in this cache...
