A cylinder approx 10cm in length at the end of a wooded path in Withdean. Access via Preston Park Station one end of the trail or the Withdean Sports Stadium the other.
This cache is sadly no more, after the local rail guys cleared the area, including the cache :( Here is my first Cache - Withdean Bridge.
This Cache is at the end of a little known wooded trail running parallel to the A23, linking Preston Park Station to Withdean Sports Stadium. This track is now peaceful again after the local football team the 'Seagulls' have relocated from Withdean to their new home in Falmer at 'The Amex'.
You are looking for a cylinder around 10cm long in a wooded area which may give you patchy GPS cover on the approach, but the cache itself is under open sky. There is no pencil within the cache.
Train spotters can 'enjoy' some railway views around this location while the rest of us can enjoy refreshments nearby
Access via Preston Park Station one end of the trail or the Withdean Sports Stadium the other, where there is car parking available.
