Officiellt heter den Luossajoki, men är mer känd som Skitabäcken, på grund av allt avfall som dumpats och fortfarande släpps ut i vattensystemet.
The official name is Luossajoki, but the commonly called Skitabäcken (Shit creek), due to the sewers of toxic waste led and still leading to the water sytem.
Luossajokis och strandnära markområden har halter av miljögifter som vida överskrider gränsvärdena. Se till att du inte ramlar i, då sitter lukten i i en vecka.
Luossajoki and the banks have high contents of toxic materials, way exceeding the limits. If you fall into the water, it will smell from to you for a week.
